Andy-John G. Kalkounos , owner-partner of Chicago Prime Italian and Chicago Prime Steakhouse restaurants in Schaumburg, has been appointed board chairman for Meet Chicago Northwest .

Kalkounos has served since 2011 on the board for the organization, which is the official destination marketing organization promoting and selling the Chicago Northwest region.

Other officers for 2016- 2017 include Brett Hintz of TopGolf as treasurer; Mike Burton of Westin Chicago Northwest -- Itasca as secretary, and Julie Berry of Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Patton Feichter of the Village of Elk Grove, and Heather Lloyd of Woodfield Mall as vice chairmen. Dave Parulo is the tourism bureau's president.
